Labor Day weekend is still summer on the thermometer. On South MacDill, it is already pumpkins.
Painting with a Twist South Tampa is running Pumpkin Path on Saturday, September 5, 7:00-9:00pm. 16x20 canvas, $40. 2821 S MacDill Ave, 33629. Adult class; 15 and up (under 18 with an adult). Arrive up to 30 minutes early. Beer and wine are for purchase - the studio is no longer BYOB.
This is not a pumpkin patch and it is not a kids' festival. It is a two-hour studio night in Palma Ceia that actually has a seat, a canvas, and a published price. If you want the neighborhood version of "fall is here" without driving to a farm, this is it.
