The Paper Seahorse turns its Howard Avenue event space into a three-hour pop-up cinema built around actual 16mm film projection, whirring projector and all. The night opens with music and a mix of vintage animation and short films, then rolls into a feature, with intermissions to mingle and time afterward to talk about what you saw. The feature listed on the event page is David and Lisa (1962), Frank Perry's Oscar-nominated indie starring Keir Dullea and Janet Margolin. Pre-packaged local food, snacks, soft drinks, and mocktails are sold at the concession, and tickets are $20.
