The Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival's Real to Reel series screens Dust Bowls and Jewish Souls, Steven Pressman's 2026 documentary (89 minutes) on a side of Woody Guthrie most fans never heard about. After his wanderings brought him to New York in the 1940s, Guthrie embraced the city's Jewish culture, and the film also tells the story of his mother-in-law, Yiddish poet and songwriter Aliza Greenblatt. An acoustic folk music set plays before the film, and concessions are available for purchase. Tickets are $5.
