A free Saturday hour with a Florida author on S Howard. Itimpi Bookstore hosts the launch of Final 9 by Barbara Gene Cardin, the follow-up to her debut Butterfly9 in the Poker Player Metamorphosis series.
Saturday, Nov 7, 1 to 2 p.m. The book follows Ella, an online poker grinder who learned to win hidden behind screen names, until a breakout run and a very public bet make her famous. Cardin is a Florida native, semi-professional poker player and traveler, and she brings that life into the story. Free, no RSVP required, and books will be for sale at the event.
