Bring something homemade to Friendsgiving without baking a thing. Local cookie decorator Miss Jenn's Cookies runs a beginner class at the Gandy Civic Association hall, teaching piping bags, icing techniques and a little watercolor on cookies.
Sunday, Nov 15, 4 p.m. You decorate six Friendsgiving-themed sugar cookies start to finish, and cookies, icing, tools, refreshments and a box to carry them home are all provided. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in, since class starts right at 4. Bring glasses if you need them for TV (there is a PowerPoint) and maybe an apron. Book on Miss Jenn's site; the price was not shown on the page we checked.
