Palma Ceia Methodist Church turns its backfield into a family trunk-or-treat on the Sunday before Halloween. Kids walk from decorated car to decorated car collecting candy (trunks keep it friendly, no scary themes), and there is face painting, food, and an open playground. Costumes are encouraged. It is a free community event, with parking in both church lots and a security officer helping families cross Bay to Bay Blvd.
